I have been a Rock Bassist for 35 years..I have toured extensively all acorss Canada, especially from Ontario Eastward where for the past 22 years I have been the leader, founding member of a ZZTOP tribute called Tres Hombres. have also toured throughout the USA for 5 years and Scandiniavia for 4 years..about 8 years ago my brother loaned me his Spanish guitar and I began to write simple tunes on it learning chords and getting some of my “killer” guitar friends to show me some “stuff”..The tuning pegs on this guitar were so awful i could only tune the guitar with a wrench..after the 6th string peg broke i couldnt get a string on it so i just decided to learn everything on 5 strings…with my 12-string it actually only has 10 strings..i just havent gotten used to adjusting my chords to fit 6 strings….I got myself a harmonica and taught myself how to play and went on the learn about 40 of Dylan’s epic tunes…along the way I met, over cyberspace, a poet from Virginia who asked me to put some music to his lyrics…it got me started….i have had some really incredible connections to some of the finest songwriters in this country who influenced me..spent about 5 years as a folk duo with Eddy “hit me with your best shot” Schwartz…although i am not the springest of chickens i am embarking on this new career with the greatest of enthusiasm and a new CD called “Goin’ Home”…
