Playing since she was a small child, born to a musical family, her craft has been honed over the past 10 years while performing solo and collaborating with Vancouver Island artists/acts like Sid Johnson, Kendall Patrick (and the Headless Bettys), Ah, Venice, The Wild Romantics, Rob Wilkinson and more.

Her talent and loveliness are unmistakable when shining beside Kendall Patrick (one of Kendall’s “Headless Bettys”) as she tickles the ivories, strums an acoustic, plays percussion (often with her foot) and fills the room with the siren song strength of her voice.

This Ladysmith singer/songwriter, music teacher and martial artist has blended her musicianship, joviality and disciplined focus together to release her first EP.

“I am SO excited to have this album completed! Being able to share something of my own with people… it’s an incredible feeling… to see how all that dreaming, manifesting and creating has turned into something physical. I got to work with such incredible people during the recording process and then again working on the cover art with my friend Sean Sherstone. I’m so proud of what we all did together! I REALLY love it!

At the release shows I’m going to play songs from the album and then share some of the new material I’ve been writing over the last year as well. I’ve been SO enjoying the writing process and all the new songs that have come out of it. In fact, I love them all so much that I can’t decide which ones to put in the set so I’m going to let the audience pick for me…some by request (for those who’ve heard the new songs already) and others by random selection out of a jar… that seems like a fair and fun way to make a set list!” – ES
